About Me
Hello! I am Eleonora, a freelance marketing translator from German and English into Italian. I help companies in the tourism, luxury, and lifestyle industries to connect with their Italian audience by crafting catchy marketing and website translations that faithfully portray their style and tone of voice.
In 2019, after completing my master’s degree in Conference Interpreting in Milan, I moved to Berlin, where I started my career as an in-house translator. Since 2023 I’ve been collaborating on a freelance basis with clients in the fields of tourism, luxury and lifestyle.
CPD (continuing professional development) is essential to me. I regularly invest in courses, books, and workshops on digital marketing, SEO, transcreation, copywriting, tourism translation and so on, to keep up to date with the latest industry trends.
I am based in Berlin, but I often spend prolonged periods in Italy, the United Kingdom and sometimes in France. This lifestyle allows me to keep my native language skills at a top level and gives me a good grasp of the cultural nuances of my source languages. Unfortunately, my French is pretty embarrassing…
